Business Caps the World with new VoIP International Rates  

Another exciting and innovative service from  Business - providing SME's with cost certainty across a range of call types 
Now with  Business VoIP international capped rates we can differentiate ourselves from competitors and compete in the price sensitive VoIP market.

From 1^st August we will offer  Business Broadband Voice customers capped rates for every international destination for up to an hour when making calls to fixed lines. This also includes competitive pence per minute (ppm) rates - hugely slashing the cost of international calls. These new rates also benefit customers with Versatility and Micro VoIP products.  

Major Global destinations capped at 10 to 20p
The main reason customers purchase VoIP is to reduce costs on international calls.  Business is meeting this demand head on with capped international VoIP calls and reduced pence per minute rates for most destinations when calling a fixed line. The differentiator that will set us apart from competitors is major global destinations like the USA, China and Germany etc. will now cost customers a mere 10p to 20p for up to an hour.

How it works? Cap the world, phone the USA for an hour for 10p 
The cap is for international VoIP calls for up to an hour to a fixed line. After an hour the call reverts back to the pence per minute which for the USA will be 1.6ppm down from 3ppm. The customer can choose to end the call after an hour and re-dial to benefit from the capped price.

Cost certainty across all call types
Not only do we offer customers cost certainty for international VoIP calls to fixed line but we provide this benefit across all major call types. As part of the Broadband Voice offer until Dec 11th  Broadband Voice (BBV) customers get:

-          Free  BBV calls to  BBV calls
-          Unlimited local & national calls on the flat-top
-          Fixed to mobile cap at 25p in the UK
-          Plus an additional VoIP line and inclusive calling features
-          All this for only 14.99 per month for the first three months and 19.99 per month there after

How we shape up against competitors?

Our new international VoIP rates are competitive in both pence per minute and cap when making a call from VoIP to fixed line. To illustrate this point - look at how long 20p would last when calling China versus our main competitors?

 Broadband Voice: 60 minutes

Competitors: Vonage 5 minutes, Toucan 1.25 minutes, Skype 18 minutes and First number 10 minutes.
Killing Skype on VoIP to UK mobile calls 
Business Broadband Voice calls to UK mobile cost just 10 ppm and are capped at 25p for up to an hour. Skype are 13.8 pence per minute with no cap. Even more disturbing is a Skype call to a UK mobile for an hour will cost customers £8.28 compared to  Broadband Voice's 25p! This is an area we should really focus on because fixed to mobile calls typically constitute 35-40% of a customers calling profile.
